Booking & Reservation Policy
Consultation: A complimentary 30-minute initial consultation is required for all wedding packages to discuss scope and vision.
Contract & Deposit: A service agreement must be signed by both parties. A non-refundable deposit of 25-50% is required to secure the date.
Payment Schedule: Final balances are due 14 days prior to the event date. No services will be rendered for unpaid balances.
Catering & Food Service Procedures
Final Headcount: Final guest counts and menu selections must be confirmed 21 days before the wedding or event.
Food Safety: To maintain health code compliance, Half & Half Productions does not permit clients to provide outside food to be served by our staff.
Leftovers: In compliance with local health regulations, we reserve the right to dispose of leftover perishable food items at the end of the event service to ensure safety. (unless otherwise agreed by the client and company).
DJ & Entertainment Services
Equipment Setup: The DJ team requires a minimum of 2 hours of setup and sound check prior to the event’s start time.
Music Selection: A “Do-Not-Play” list and a “Must-Play” list must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the event.
Power Requirements: The client is responsible for ensuring the venue provides sufficient electrical power (minimum two dedicated 20-amp circuits) for audio/lighting equipment.
Event Planning & Coordination
Communication: Our primary channel for planning updates is Email/Phone. We commit to a 48-hour response time for all inquiries.
Outside Vendors: If we are acting as the primary planner, we coordinate all logistics for third-party vendors. Half & Half Productions is not responsible for the performance or contractual failures of outside vendors hired by the client.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation by the Client, the following fees apply:
31+ Days Prior: Forfeiture of initial deposit
15-30 Days Prior: 50% of the total contract balance is due to the Company
0-14 Days Prior: 100% of the total contract balance is due to the Company
Half & Half Productions is not liable for failure to perform due to acts of God, extreme weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In these cases, we will work with the client to reschedule based on availability.
